This book, starting from first principles, is a guide to the Navigation and Meteorological syllabus of the two Royal Yachting Association / Department of Trade & Industry examinations for Yachtmaster (Offshore) and Yachtmaster (Ocean).

It is specially designed for progressive self-study and includes two practice charts and necessary extracts from Nautical Almanac and Tide Tables. A student who has worked through the numerous exercises given should both understand the principles, and be familiar with the methods described.
